Ana Payne

DESIGN ASSISTANT/ INSTALLATION SPECIALIST

Ana has been working with J Squared Home Designs since 2019.

She works part time as a Design Assistant, Installation Specialist, keeps our samples and the office organized, and is hands on in many ways and she wears many hats and is always willing to help!!

If you are planning a design project with our team you will meet Ana, and immediately love her!

She is detail oriented and has been a wonderful asset to the team almost from our inception.

She is bilingual and is a major asset communicating with our trades.

Ana is a dedicated wife and mother of 2 amazing young children, and brings so much to our team!

Haleh Mirdamadi

Independent Contractor – Rendering and Elevations

Haleh joins J Squared Home Designs straight from obtaining her Associate’s degree in Interior Design from Houston Community College. She garnered several honors while she was a student including an ASID Ruby Award for her rendering skills in the Student Design Category. We are excited to have her on board and look forward to growing her skills on our team.

Melissa Ferkel

Intern

Melissa joins J Squared Homes Designs as an Intern and sketch specialist. Melissa recently graduated from Houston Community College and will intern with us. Melissa will be onsite for installations, meetings and will be assisting as needed for sourcing and organization. We look forward to helping her hone her skill set in real world scenarios.

Bio:

Melissa Ferkel is an interior designer with a strong passion for crafting spaces that are distinct, personal, and reflective of the individuals who call them home. She studied Interior Design at Houston Community College, where she excelled academically, particularly in hand-sketching courses that aligned with her long-standing passion for drawing and visual arts.

Her design approach emphasizes thoughtful personalization, creating environments that balance functionality with unique character. As an active member of the NKBA, ASID, and NEWH, she remains engaged in ongoing professional development and the broader design community.

Dedicated to elevating the client experience through creative problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail, she takes pride in transforming concepts into meaningful spaces that enhance her clients’ daily lives.
